Hydrodynamic Analysis of 3-SPS Wave Energy Conversion Device

Wave energy has the advantages of high density, renewability, and wide distribution, been highly valued by many coastal countries. The wave conversion device can convert into electric energy, which is great significance for alleviating problems such as crisis greenhouse effect. traditional only gain along heave direction, kinetic buoy not fully utilized. To improve utilization efficiency device, this paper proposed a new type 3-SPS device. Based on linear waves Lagrangian equation, hydrodynamic model was established. displacement velocity float under action were analyzed. results show that collect in its heaving, surging pitching movement at same time; heaving direction much greater than directions; capture multiple directions motion, indicating efficiency. This provides some useful references optimal design
